how the product works, in plain wordsOverview
Xape is a non-custodial web app on Solana. You pay with your X Money Visa debit card and receive almost any Solana token in your own wallet. You buy USDC with the card at a provider of your choice, into your own wallet; we detect the deposit and then swap USDC into the token you chose through Jupiter, in a transaction you sign.
What we do: wallet connect, holder eligibility check, quotes, deposit detection, order tracking, the Jupiter swap, referrals, holder revenue share. What we never do: hold funds, take card payments, run verification ourselves, sign on your behalf, or ask for wallet secrets.
Signing in
Connect Phantom, Solflare or Backpack. If none is installed you get install links. Then you sign a message (Sign-In With Solana). It is not a transaction and costs nothing. The session is tied to that one wallet; switching wallets ends it.
On your first sign-in you receive a member number and an invite code. If you arrived through an invite link, that code is attached now and cannot change later. An unknown code does not block sign-in; you simply continue without a referrer.
Cashing out
- Enter the amount of USDC to buy and pick a target token. The estimate updates live.
- Create the order. It costs nothing. The order page shows your full wallet address and links to providers.
- Buy that USDC with your X Money card at the provider you prefer: the Buy button in your wallet, Transak, MoonPay or an exchange withdrawal. USDC on the Solana network, to your address. The provider's own checks and messages appear on its side. Any amount of at least of the order counts.
- USDC lands in your wallet. We detect it on chain and the order stores the actual amount and the deposit transaction. The order expires after hours without a deposit; nothing is owed.
- Target is USDC: done. Any other token: you get a final quote with a second timer and a Swap now button. Your wallet signs, we add the fee payer signature and submit.
You can close the tab after buying. The order page resumes at the current status, and every page shows a banner while an order is open. One open order per wallet at a time.
Tokens
Default target is SOL. Pinned: USDC, SOL and . The list is Jupiter's verified token list; each row shows logo, symbol, name, shortened mint, USD price and 24h volume. Search by symbol, name or full mint. A pasted mint that is not on the list still resolves, marked Unverified, and needs a checkbox before you continue. Symbols are not unique on Solana, so the selected token always shows its mint.
| Check | What you see |
|---|---|
| Not on the verified list | Yellow badge plus a checkbox |
| No route from USDC | "No swap route for this token", cannot continue |
| Price impact above | Yellow warning with the percentage |
| Price impact above | Red, swap disabled, try a smaller amount |
| Token-2022 transfer fee | Fee shown in the breakdown, amounts reduced |
| Freeze or mint authority not revoked | Yellow warning |
| Swap simulation fails | "This token can't be swapped right now" |
Fees and quotes
There are two quotes per order. The estimate, when you create the order, is never locked: provider fees are shown by the provider you buy USDC from and the swap leg is indicative. The final quote, at swap time, is locked for seconds and then refreshes by itself.
| Row | Standard, | Holder |
|---|---|---|
| Provider fees | shown by the provider | shown by the provider |
| USDC received in your wallet | 100.00 USDC | 100.00 USDC |
| Network and account setup | −0.30 USDC | −0.30 USDC |
| Swap input | 99.70 USDC | 99.70 USDC |
| Our fee | −1.00 USDC | 0.00 USDC |
| Swapped into the target | 98.70 USDC worth | 99.70 USDC worth |
Provider fees are charged and shown by the provider you buy from, never by us; the final quote uses the USDC that actually arrived. Network and account setup is sponsored gas plus rent for a new token account if your wallet has none for that token, recovered in USDC inside the swap transaction. Slippage defaults to and can be raised to . Minimum received is the expected amount × (1 − slippage). USD rounds to 2 decimals, fees round up, amounts you receive round down. A USDC target has no swap, so no swap fee and no network line.
Order statuses
| Status | What it means | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
awaiting_payment | Order created, waiting for USDC in your wallet (up to hours) | Buy USDC, copy your address, Cancel |
swap_ready | USDC landed, final quote shown | Swap now, Keep USDC |
swapping | Signed transaction submitted | Wait, follow the tx link |
swap_failed | Transaction failed or did not confirm; your USDC is in your wallet | Retry with a new quote, Keep USDC |
completed | Tokens received, both tx links shown | View on Solscan, share, new order |
expired | No USDC arrived within hours, nothing owed | Start a new order |
cancelled | Cancelled before any USDC arrived | Start a new order |
Status changes only on backend events: the USDC deposit detected on chain, the swap result. Order codes look like XAPE-7K2Q9M. When a swap runs, the transaction carries the order code in a Memo instruction, so anyone can find the order on Solscan. A USDC order is verified by the deposit transaction alone.
Holders
Holders of pay 0% on the swap and receive a share of protocol fees. The backend snapshots balances hourly; you are eligible when your balance is at or above in every snapshot of the last hours. This blocks buying right before a swap and selling right after. Only the connected wallet counts, summed over all its token accounts for that mint. The tier is checked before payment and again before the swap; if it changed, the final quote says so and uses the tier at swap time.
Revenue share: each calendar month, of our fees, net of referral rewards, goes to holders in USDC. Your weight is the lowest balance you held across every hourly snapshot of the month, so you need at least the holder minimum, set when the token goes live in every one of them: a wallet that buys after the month starts, or sells under the minimum during it, waits for the next month. Every holder wallet counts; only accounts controlled by a program rather than a private key are left out (the bonding curve, liquidity pools, smart-contract vaults and multisigs). Payouts are sent to your wallet in USDC with no claim step; a share under USDC is split among the other holders. Rewards depend on the fees we collect and are not guaranteed.

Payouts are sent to your wallet in USDC with no claim step; a share under USDC is split among the other holders. The first period runs from the token launch to 31 Oct 2026 and is paid from 1 Nov. For that period only, so that buyers after launch day are not left out, your weight is your average balance over the period, any hour under the minimum counting as zero, and you must still hold the minimum at the last snapshot of October. Rewards depend on the fees we collect and are not guaranteed.
Referrals
Every member has an invite link of the form https://www.xape.cash/?ref=CODE. A referral attaches only at the invitee's first sign-in and never changes. One referrer per wallet; you cannot use your own code. Referrers earn of our fee on each invitee swap, paid out in USDC. If the invitee is a holder, our fee is 0, so the referrer earns 0 on that swap. The Card page shows invited, active, earned this period and total paid, with a payout history and tx links.
Staying safe
- We never ask for wallet secrets of any kind: no secret words, no passwords, no file exports. Nobody from the team will ever message you first.
- Check the address bar. Only the real domain shows the swap widget; copies cannot send you USDC.
- Read what your wallet shows before you approve. The swap is one transaction with a memo carrying your order code and a minimum received amount.
- Check the mint, not the symbol. Symbols are not unique on Solana.
- On-chain transfers are irreversible. If you send tokens somewhere by mistake, nobody can bring them back.
- The provider you buy USDC from may ask you to verify your identity. We are not part of that purchase and never see those documents.
- Send USDC on the Solana network only, to the address shown on your order page. Other networks and other tokens are not detected.
